The fact is Ward's best win was against a fighter Joe had already beaten in Kessler..

Nah, Ward gets Lacyied. Calzaghe might get a point deduction for a dry hump though

I know no one wants to hear this but...Kessler was a more polished, better fighter against Ward and Ward schooled him in a way Calzaghe was wholly incapable of ever doing in his life and that was their mutual best opponent. Goodbye.

I think Ward would bully him on the inside, 8-4 Ward.

Ward likely wins. Calzaghe never fought an elite fighter in their prime. A damn shame too.

Which translates into 114-113 for Ward on the judges scorecards

Of course Ward could win rounds against Calzaghe,Reid gave Calzaghe a nightmare when they fought and if not deserving of a win Reid was certainly deserving of a draw,Hopkins mouth also cost him the win over Calzaghe.Ward has the better pedigree both amateur and pro as well as fighting the better opposition. Wards higher iq could well cancel out Calzaghe’s higher work rate as well as the fact that Calzaghe’s pitter patter punches would not deter/keep off Ward. Ward wins by UD in an ugly fight imo.

Only Joe Chalzaghe fought fair and Ward used his elbows.

JC in a 8-4 type win. Close enough fight but JC to take all the late rounds

You do realize Ward only had a hand full of fights in Oakland. 8 In and around Oaktown. 25% at home against Calz 90% at home. Something like that.

I believe he is talking world title fights as many fighters travel earlier in their careers, so let's look at world title fights
World title fights, I believe Ward was always the home fighter
For Calzaghe, he had 24 world title fights and I believe only 11 in his home country

Not sure where you are getting your stats from?

Now I will go with you saying UK but he was fighting fighters based in England in England against Eubank, Reid, Woodhall, Starie, where he would be the away fightera and even then Calzaghe fought in world title fights twice in America, once in Germany and once in Denmark

How was he more polished? Lol
He had been largely inactive and suffering eye problems

Did you not see Kessler against Mundine or Andrade?

Beg to differ but out of interest who are the elite prime fighters Ward fought? In your opinion

Are you joking, Bailey? Mundine is revered as one of the greatest athletes in history where I am from. Of course I saw that. Andrade was the most polished, beautiful shutout that wasn't a Ward fight, arguably, in all of 168-pound history. Holy mackerel. I respect how you rep for your people's fighters, Bailey, always have, but damn. Come to present time, ya'll. We have 20/20 hindsight now. It is all in perspective. Ward the GOAT.
