Wilder's handlers seem less certain because they have thus far steered clear of Thompson.

I'm not sure about that. Price was knocking everyone out similar to Wilder until he stepped up and fought TT. I know Wlad fans bash Wilder all the time because they fear his power on Wlad's weak chin and skin. But I'm still not sure if Wilder is legit because most of who he has fought was trash.. If Wilder's people had faith is him he should fight TT next. But that won't happen being he is in line for a shot at the WBC belt. Wilder's first real test will be for a title shot.

Even Kovalev and Stevenson would be undefeated against Wilder's "opponents".

And against Scott, Rigoundeaux could score a beautiful first round ko. "...but... but he gently slapped him on the temple! The famous temple technique, naw'mean?"
