I'd bet on Curry to do a lot better than the general consensus. The Curry for a couple years before he weight drained himself was special and dangerous. He might do better than SRL did because he wouldn't slide into a brawl with him.
Roberto Hands of Stone Duran smothers a peak Donald Curry. It would in some ways resemble the 1986 fight and beating that Lloyd Honeyghan inflicted on Curry. At the center of the ring instructions, Duran would be giving Curry that Charles Manson like stare. Then Duran would use head movement, cutting off the ring to trap Donald, pounding his body, smashing his torso with shot under the heart as in his title defense against Lightning Ray Lampkin in 1975. Curry would connect with some crisp right had to make Hands Of Stone respect him. Roberto continues a very wicked assault, forcing a savage beating on Curry, the referee has to rescue Curry in round7.
You definitely know you're music Richard. Pulling up dates from fights too, I don't know how you do it buddy!
Ha Ha That is another good one, man I would be ancient if Guy Lombardo played at my prom, with Jack Dempsey as the featured guest.
Not so sure. Curry could pop and was pretty quick. Starling who was very strong on the inside dominated Simon Brown and Lupe Aquino on the inside-two guys who were very strong on the inside and Curry tossed Starling around on the inside of their rematch. So I think Curry is stronger then what people think and he was pretty quick with good power. Colin Jones was very strong on the inside but Curry just tore him up on the inside. And while Jones isn't as talented as a Duran he was very strong. Sure Duran bested Palamino but honestly Carlos looked less then sharp in that bout.
