Would Dubois beat Hrgovic without the headbutts?

Have you ever watched Hrgovic box before he's never used his jab in the traditional sense. He's always primarily been about the right hand, he only uses the left as a way to land his right. He constantly paws with it, blocks opponents incoming jab with it, pulls down an opponents guard with it, what he rarely does is actually throw it with conviction.

Yeah Dubois is easy to hit, but Hrgovic is even easier to hit. Christ Joyce was more elusive against Dubois than Hrgovic was. But I agree that Hrgovic underestimated Dubois and thought he could of taken him out. Maybe it was the case of him choosing to punch himself out in trying to get an early KO but if that's the case Hrgovic is a moron. Once it became clear he was over exerting himself and Dubois was still there, all he had to do was choose to take his foot off the gas but instead he chose to gas out? Nah I don't buy that and if your version is true then we can forget about Hrgovic rebuilding because he then lacks the ring IQ necessary to make any improvements.

 

Which 5 heavyweights would you rank above Dubois?

It's probably very hard to understand if you are not from that region, but it's 3 most important thing in mans life.

My wife is from the same region as Loma and he is a prime example, of how can man handle the difficult situation in his country, He actually defended all 3 of these things. He is a real man, thank god.

Are you looking at Boxrecs rankings and saying that he is top 5 ? or how ? When Usyk beat him, he was a guy, who was down 3 times in the first round and was saved by the brits.

 

100% correct the mental side of boxing is so under rated it's unreal if you look at any great boxer mentally they are on a different level you can have all the talent and skills in the world but if you dont have the right minerals it will only take you so far I think DDD is still finding out if he has them.

You can also argue that having a elite mentality can take you further that having elite skills looked someone like Froch he got to the top and beat a lot of guys who was better than him because he was prepared to go places his opponent wouldn't or couldn't

Then you have someone like Audly Harrison who had a lot more talent than most but just did not have what it takes to be a top pro and froze every time he got in the ring

So I'd say at worse he's a top 7 HW.

 

He has a problem with Usyk in general. Whatever the topic, he finds an angle to diminish Usyk as a fighter and as a man. He was the first guy I was warned about as a staunch Usyk hater whom one can't really reason with.

 

Senpai is mad at Usyk for him being too good, and not allowing himself to being robbed on the scorecard. He is angry, because of Loma gets robbed on the card, and somehow get pissed at Usyk for that.
As far as the life stuffs, can you imagine trying to judge someone that you absolutely don't know, and you are not in his shoes. And someone that have obviously bee put insane amount of pressure on. If he takes a certain side or say certain thing, they can even say he is a traitor or so.
Just like with Russian and their athlete, they can't come and say what they really think, as there is laws against that.

It's like hating on them, for someone else action ....
If something life thought me, is never judge anyone else, no matter what. Until you are not in his shoes, you have no f**** idea why someone has done this or that.

 

Last few months or so I spend way too much time on here, and my work has suffer a bit cause of that, so i will surely take a rest, which will be from tomorrow. Maybe will comeback from the September or December fights. Taking a complete break from Boxing and other Martial Arts i watch too, as really spends a lot of time on it.

As far as Hrgovic - Dubois goes on, as i rewatched it, and stopped and rewatched a lot of moments. I don't think the headbutts open the cuts though. They may have making them worst, but i think both of the cuts was done by a punch.
I also think Hrgovic gameplan was just all wrong. And Dubois was just getting stronger and stronger, and he absolutely didn't needed all of the headbutts. But since he is with don Charles, he is just using everything, no matter if it's legal or illegal. I think it's a change in mentality which is good, as he is is ready for everything in order to win, but this should not be allowed.

And again some of the headbutts wasn't so blatant, but if you pay attention to his head movement, it's clearly deliberate what he is doing and what his intention are. Also in almost every single clinch he is putting his head onto Hrgovic face in order to do some damage. He is just looking to make contact with Hrgovic face.

That being said i also counted around 6 or 7 rabbit punches by Hrgovic. He was warned 2 or 3 time for it, but that was it.

Anyway Hrgovic didn't complain at all, which is his problem. His team was stupid enough to not make that clear as well.
But i make that dirty play clear, as i never like cheaters in any sport i watch, and because there was trolls on here that were saying Usyk is a crybaby, for complain about illegal blows. Can you imagine?

Yes though he probably doesn't stop him as I believe the butts are what caused the cuts to be in the state they were in. But Yeah Double D's I'm sure would've won by a wide points margin.
