At the outset let's make clear that Mayweather is one of the best boxers ever, his dedication, work ethic and skillset deserves all respect and recognition. That said his legacy leaves a number of questions open, especially since he has made claim to be TBE. So, it is relevant to answer whether Floyd Mayweather would have: (a) Cruised through undefeated as a super featherweight if he fought, in addition to Corrales, Casamayor and Freitas in their prime, and Erik Morales moving up in weight (btw what a division that was); or defeated (b) Ricky Hatton at junior welterweight at the time Hatton fought Tszyu; (c) Paul Williams; (d) Pacquiao latest by 2009; (e) Cotto latest by 2008; (f) Winky Wright; and (g) Mosley latest by 2008. I am not forming a view but I maintain that we should have seen at least half of the above fights. We have not.
This is an opinion not a fact, but yes he was one of the greatest. Mayweather threads are largely created to bait people, very little discussion happens around his actual ability and resume.

I meant deep down not even you think Floyd is the best ever lol. His resume is poor compared to the others greats such as Charles as Greb and he is not as skilled as others such as SRR, SRL, Duran and Hearns.
Floyd’s legacy speaks for itself, as does his resume. The fact you are trying to prop it up unnecessarily by hating on another fighter (another ATG) shows you are just fanboying.
I could see Floyd going 3-1 or 4-0 against the Fab 4. Would be some great bouts! Floyd's resume stacks against theirs, most have Floyd greater actually.
Yep even if you think he is capable of beating all those fighters head to head it is not possible to win that many back to back against elite opposition you are going to come unstuck in at least a few of them. That is why as great a fighter as Floyd was he was also an elite cherry picker who took fights when it best suited him.
Not really. Look at Canelo. He fought Charlo now people say he’s ducking Benavidez. If he would have fought Benavidez he would have ducked Charlo. If Mayweather had fought one of those guy other than Baldomir they would have said he’s ducking the guy with all the belts.
