    If you could have transplanted Joe's chin onto Lorenzo Zanon, you would have had a helluva fighter.

    Think he and Burns held the same record for KO ing title challenges.
    Berbick broke Holmes streak I'm sure.

    The fight in the late 70s or early 80s would of been talked up by the British press to be the fight of the of
    Decade .unfortunately Joe would do his normal thing box on the retreat lose on points and pick up the dosh.
    A very disappointed event.

    Exactly.

    And, just imo, if not for the cut, Bugner would’ve outlasted Earnie for a mid to later round stoppage in Joe’s favour.

    Shavers was really going all out in the first 2 rounds and his executions weren’t all strictly legal either.

    Bugner would run all night from Holmes. He doesn't win around then complains about the decision.
