Spinks was a big puncher at light heavyweight, but he had only good not great power at heavyweight. He probably wouldn't have had the firepower to keep Frazier up off him.

Charles might make it to the finish line, but I don't see him winning

im not sure I give 210 Holyfield a good shot. Not a good match up for Evander.

Frazier cutting weight to 175 is an absolutely scary thought, not because he'd [most likely] kill every single light heavy who has ever lived, but because he'd probably look like a deflated Michelin Man with one arm gone to cut make weight for 175. That aside, I don't see any light heavyweight, even the ATGs at the division, beating someone like him. Not Ezzard, not Moore, not Spinks and obviously not Foster!

He beats them all if he's a hw and they're coming up in weight. If he's 175 too, no

How is weigh-in done? Same day, the opponent has to hit 175, and Joe can weigh his usual (prime) 205? I bet on Joe over anyone, although I'd love to see him up against cruiser-weight Holyfield.

Day-before, so his opponent is probably hitting the ring the same size as him? I guess I still bet on Joe, but competition here would be better.

Or does Joe have to hit 175 same-day? That isn't happening. He could probably lean out to a shredded 190 or so, then dehydrate down to 175 for day-before weigh in, but same-day there's just no way he could hit 175.

He could make 175 under day-before weigh in. Shred him down to like 6%-7% body fat (and don't say this is unreasonable, this is very common for the smaller guys) and he's probably low 190s. That's within the dehydration shens that go on today. He'd be miserable as hell getting there and would be looking at his coach like he wanted to kill him (there's funny footage of Tommy Hearns doing this), but he'd spend the rest of the day drinking pickle juice and pineapple juice like everyone else, then be good to go the next day.

He fought almost the entirety of his professional career >200 pounds. A 175 pound Joe Frazier really isn't Joe Frazier.

Joe Frazier like Floyd Patterson are not fighters you’d want to have a size disadvantage against but there are old timers at the 175lbs weight who were genius and could’ve out-thought them. It’s just two hands and a mind for everybody at the end of the day everyone can be outsmarted.
