I agree with you, but there are two sides to every coin. Pavlik did what he was supposed to do. he worked hard for the fight in the gym and put away a mandatory challenger for his championship. Had Kelly underachieved, people would be calling him an overrated bum and such. Kelly Pavlik is a top top fighter. he was before this fight and he is after the fight. last nights performance didn't sway me one bit on KP. I view Kelly the same way two days ago that I view him today. Unless a person thought Kelly Pavlik to be a bum or not an elite fighter, no opinions should have changed.

He is the world champ and has beaten Taylor twice, Miranda, and BHop. If there was any "exposing" to be done, it would have been done already. Doesn't mean Kessler couldn't find a way to win. But it wouldn't be because Pavlik was being "exposed."

And Kessler backed out of his proposed fight with Miranda, while Kelly beat the stuffing out of him.

He KO'd a guy you had never heard of. A guy who hadn't been operating at world level. Wow.

And yes, I watched the fight. I am not in the habit of discussing fights I haven't seen. He KO'd a ****ing nobody he was supposed to KO.

No, you said he showed "improvement" last night. What had he "improved" upon?

And yeah, he looked good. Against a guy who was nowhere near his level.

I live in New York and nowhere did I say that Pavlik and Taylor were levels below Kessler and Calzaghe. All 4 fighters are on the elite level of boxing. good try though with the generalizations. A for Effort

My point exactly. Last night's fight didn't tell us anything we didn't already know about Pavlik. You are a wise man. ;)

Dude, a guy can show improvement even in sparring. No matter if you think he showed improvement or not. Your logic that improvement can't be witnessed against an inferior fighter is inaccurate.

Riiiight. You're about as idiotic and useless as any poster I've ever seen on here. No worries, morons like you usually reprimanded quickly by the mods. :D I'm through with you now, go play with yourself and leave the real posting to the big boys.

    Later. :D

Logic is not something this **** for brains poster is accustomed to using. It's obvious after only a few posts that I've seen that he operates in the realm of delusion or absolute stupidity. I'm thinking it's the later.

    My god.

Yeah, no difference between Lockett and Kessler's opposition, even Sartison is much better than Lockett, Kessler's up and coming opponent, it's not a good fight or the right fight, but it's better than Lockett.
