i've seen the fight many times with both sound on and off. I agree completely with what you are saying. i respect your scorecard 100% and understand how based on that fight it's possible to get two completely different scores.

    i agree.

kessler and calzaghe only hit the limelight because both were champs in the same weight division and neither wanted to fight big names in the US.

calzaghe's pe4rformance against hopkins really illustrates what would have happened if he had fought hopkins or jones in his prime.

if anything calzaghe has shown his age more than hopkins as he has completely lost his power, in his prime calzaghe would beat hopkins but lose to jones imo.

Disclaimer....If your idea of logic is knight/knave/normal braintwisters, you're in the wrong forum....:think

What is one method to predict/argue who will win a fight (Pav. v. Kessler) if two fighters have never fought each other? One way is seeing how they fared against common opponents. If there are no common opponents you can resort to more tenuous comparisons....so here it is...... Joe Calzaghe defeated Kessler much more decisively than he defeated B-Hop. Kelly Pavlik defeated Taylor 2x who defeated a younger and better B-Hop 2x.....so it's 95% certain that Kelly starches Kessler.....

When it happens in the ring, not in a forum post.

how would calzaghe beat hopkins "in his prime" when he wins a controversial decision after a knockdown against a 43 year old man?

I'm a bit worried how Kessler will bounce back from his big loss, he sounded pretty negative after it.

kessler was pretty negative after it.

i live in denmark and mogens palle saying that miranda "wasn't in kessler's league" and then taking a fight in copenhagen with an 'unbeaten european champ' sends a pretty dire message IMO.

for all the hard work done to get HBO backing, that can all fall away pretty fast now if palle wants to manage his career 'calzaghe style'.

how does that ****ing prove anything? so in the end, when you have no common opponents you just reach for your ass and pull something out of it?
that is the most ****-witted **** for brains comment that i've ever read. thats not tenous brother, thats ****ing ridiculous. what about how styles apply to boxing? how a fighter fights in the ring. not 1 fighters opponents records vs another fighters opponent records. what you have basically just done is **** on a plate and called it steak. where did you get the 95% mark from? yo just picked a number? is that it? there is no doubt why Ray Charles went blind, he read your posts.

kessler is faster and stronger...point taken. but one thing kessler doesnt have is anything beating in his chest or anything hanging between his legs. he allowed joe to take it to him w/o fighting back the last 5 rounds and he backed out against miranda (who was knocked out in 7 by??????) i do like all three fighters though....just an observation is all.
