Threads like this are meaningless nothing but popularity contest. The truth is H2H prime for prime PBF is the superior boxer period and all these people picking Oscar are doing it out of two things hate for PBF or the fact that they think Oscar can somehow keep up a jab for 12 rounds. Sorry to say it Oscar fans but it ain't happening. It will take more than a jab to beat PBF.:deal

Prime for prime I dont see any weapons that Floyd has that would give Oscar problems. that Defense PBF has wouldn't be very effective because a prime Oscar hardly used his right as much as he should have and PBF "D" wouldnt be able to counter the way he likes to to the right hand. Oscar would snap that neck and when they both threw it oscars would get there first majority of the time. The reach alone gives PBF trouble. Shane is a fighter that will go toe to toe. Sweet pea is a lefty and PBF goes to the ropes and roles with his shoulder and thats where OScars speed, size and power comes into play... OScar wins no doubt.

    No.

Their actual fight was far too competitive for me to see FMJ winning in a primes match.

I think Floyd is a greater p4p fighter than DLH & should go down as such but the size would be the difference in their primes IMO.

Prime PBF struggled against an old De La Hoya (I even had DLH winning the fight 115/114).
So, I don't even think he would be much of a trouble for a prime, fast and powerful Oscar at 147.

He did not prove it at all. It was a split decision fight against an
old DLH. PBF scared to lose in the rematch and rather than making
around 20 millions in a rematch, he retired.
