My goodness, if Price reads this forum some of you guys are going to be partly responsible for him getting back in the ring.

For feck sake how many brutal KOs do you want the guy to suffer - I dread to think what would happen if Whyte landed anything like the left hook which KO’d Brown on Price.

And this stuff about Price nearly beating Povetkin is just horse crap. Yes, he wobbled him with a good shot, but Price would never have stopped him in a million years. Povetkin has a solid chin and would have withstood the attack - infact knowing Price he would have walked onto a counter whilst trying to unload.

Was a bad KO but Pricey got up fine and he shook the guy to his boots. He can still operate at a high level, maybe not vs Joshua or Wilder.

What do you mean by 'still operate at a high level'? Are we just going to completely erase the Christian Hammer fight from history? He's British level, that's all. If he wants to continue fighting then he needs to do it at that level, otherwise he's going to be iced again and again and again

That guy is surely joking with this post?
Personally, I don’t think Price should even be trying to fight at British level- he cannot take a shot, and he was badly busted up by Povetkin, it’s simply too dangerous for him to continue.

I'm happy for him to at least try down that route. As touted previously, him against Fury or Allen would work for me

As the majority have said Whyte would KO him, ask Browne.

Browne v Price would be a better option.

don't get the Price love in! Any one throwing an overhand right with conviction sparks him imo! no head movement just stands in front of opponent. no doubting he has power but his technique is awful, lazy jab brought back chest height is criminal in any level of boxing. If povetkin was more active the fight would have been over in the first round.

Whyte would beat Price. Issue Price has are his lack of stamina and punch resistance. I would even fancy Dave Allen to beat him. Reason is Price blows out his arse after 4 rounds and has only went past round 7 once in his career. So if you can take a shot and can take him to mid Rounds onwards he's easy pickings. It's a shame as he seems a gr8 guy and he showed ability v Povetkin and caused him more problems than someone like Dave Allen ever could but has two major flaws that make it very hard for him to beat good opponents.

He went life and death with Hammer. Have you erased that?

No I haven't, that's exactly my point. Going life and death - actually, let me rephrase - getting stopped by Hammer is not operating at a high level

Solid enough gatekeeper surely which is top 20. Pricey went life and death so that is his level.
