Mosley was great at 135, but Duran is possibly the greatest. Even if Mosley can win, it's not a crushing win. Come on ESB, I know hyperbole is the lingua franca here but let's settle down
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lM9ivIVyhEE[/ame] Thats what you would see all night long, but a prime Duran was much sharper
Davy Moore is in no way Shane Mosley. Duran also had heaps of experience over the overmatched Moore who had no idea what was in store. Shane is a brilliant combination puncher, packs power, has blinding hand speed and is one of the strongest fighters I've seen. He doesn't have the technical variety to beat the lightweight beast that was Duran, but those attributes he has will make this a tough fight for someone with Duran's style.
Davey Moore was a strong Jr Middleweight with quick hands and explosive offensive power. Not much on defense, and a bit inexperienced, but he had already beaten down the excellent Ayub Kalule. Chances are, he'd beat Shane, who was never much at 154. That's a past prime Duran 20lbs above his best weight butchering Moore.
Loved Mosley at 135 but Duran would be too much for him. It would have been a n entertaining fight though.
Mosley was a monster at 135 pounds. Really big, unbelievable hand speed. Mosley came up short lots of times but not at lightweight. At 135 pounds, Mosley would give any LW in history problems. Might not beat them all, but no one would have walked through him at that weight.
although it wouldnt be Ray lampkin brutal - it would be bad enough and at 135 I could see Duran stopping Shane .
