While I think Williams is better, I absolutely would not write Galento off. Contests where there's a glass chin against a rock solid chin who can also punch have a tendency to produce surprise results.

A Williams-Galento fight is a 50/50 fight in my opinion. That said I wouldn't bet my life on any fighter, since fighter's are still human and anything can happen in a fight. I've seen too many fighters blow out their knees, backs, or shoulders in fights.

Too risky, imagine trembling with fear until the last round, Cleveland dominates and Galento knocks him out with a lucky punch..

Yes, a reminder what REAL fighting looks like. There's no wasting mental energy on 'moves' and 'skills' there.
    Raw blissfully ignorant violence.

Galento seemed more durable and could hit just as hard. That left hook that connected on Joe Louis would have rung Williams bell.

I never thought I would see the day where you give Galento a good chance against a more modern heavyweight.

I wouldn't bet my life on Cleveland Williams beating Joe Grim, nor anything else that I couldn't afford to lose.

I wouldn't bet my life that Mike Tyson would beat Maris Frazier in an immediate rematch. (Well, maybe if it was really immediate.)
