Personally I would like to see it, and hope for a more entertaining fight then the last one.

I am not being funny or nothing but I don't want to see a Hopkins Calzaghe rematch, the first one was **** and so would be the second.

Their styles clash too much for it ever to be a good fight. Because no matter what some idiots on here think Hopkins could not fight against Calzaghe the way he did against Pavlik. Also, if they did fight again we would see Hopkins run out of steam and everyone say he was old again. The reason why he gassed in april was due to the way Calzaghe fought. Hopkins did not start acting the way he did (faking those low blows etc) thinking that he was winning. Also like Roach said, he kept walking to the wrong corner, now this is not because he was having "senior moments" its because Calzaghe disoriantated him, its what he does to everyone, look at what Kessler said after his fight with him.

So I am sorry if that is not what some people want to hear but it is the truth. Also, look at the fight Calzaghe won at least 7 rounds with that meaning Hopkins got 5 plus the 10-8 round in the first that made it 115-114 to Calzaghe.

    End of.

    Indeed.

It is only really their age's, and that it was a stinker of a fight which has prevented a real push for it.

Bernard has now proven though that he is finer fettle then we first thought.

Hopefully a rematch would clear up any lingering doubts about the first result.

    **** yeah.

I loved the first fight and they are both pound for pound top 10. Get it sorted out. I'd like to see it done in Cardiff and if Joe wins, they should both hang em up.

If Hopkins pulls it out - to Vegas for the rubber and then no more.

All of this is assuming Roy doesn't pull one out of the bag ;)

    More than anything.

We now have a very clear world top 4 p4p fighters: Pacquiao, Marquez, Hopkins, Calzaghe.

For 2009, Pac-JMM III and Hopkins-Calzaghe II absolutely have to happen.

I honestly did enjoy the first fight too, but I think I'm very much in the minority there. I really did enjoy the clash of styles, and each of them trying to work each other out...

I totally agree, i'd love to see Pac-JMM 3. I'd also love to see Pop-Cal 2, It would be exeptional to watch, especially if Nard tried to fight like that against Joe. He'd get raped. But as we ALL know there's no way in this life or any other that Nard would try to fight like that against Joe. That is a pity as we'd have to watch another hugging match and when Joe won we'd have to put up with how Nard was just too old and over the hill, when he is anything but. Nard is clearly unique in that he is a fighter who literally gets better with age, its crazy, but true. Hats of to Nard he really is special and what he did to Kelly last night was special, but far from unexpected.

I'd love to see another fight between Joe n Nard but it would be ****, Joe would win and I'd have to pay stupid money to watch on Sky no doubt. Still im totally up for it. If Joe gets by Jones then we'll see if Joe is.

In general I would like to see a rematch, but if Joe is going to fight anyone after RJJ, I would like to see him fight Dawson. If JC only takes one more fight after Roy, I hope he fights Dawson. If he takes two fights, I hope he rematches BHop and fights Dawson.

No. Dawson would be next for Calzaghe if he gets past Jones.
Legacy wise I think its better for Joe. A boxer hitting his peak rather than one past it who he has already beaten.

After seeing the fight yesterday . . . I'll say yes . . . he deserves another crack at Calzaghe.

You can't guarantee that - many people thought Pavlik, V Hopkins was going to be a bore, and it wasn't. There is a chance a rematch would turn out differently - entertainment wise. Hopkins is not going to come in with the same stratergy...

I would wach it, Hop deserves it but it wouldnt surprise me if neither want it, nothing would change,Hop cant stop him early and while it took Cal 4 rounds to figure him out, once he did it was a virtual shut-out and unless cal's forgotten what he did he'll do the same thing, this time from the start and if its in wales a ref would probably ****in stop it in the 8th and neither man would get any credit. Neither deserve that.

No, I'd rather see Calzaghe move up to heavyweight and fight either of the Klitschkos :hey

Seriously, I would definitely want to see a rematch between Joe and B-Hop.

As Nard put it in the post fight interview: "I will go to England to fight the Welshman" :D

I'm not completely sure. Both fighters pretty much fought their fight the 1st time and many people were split on who won. I think it would be very close again, but I'm not sure Hopkins gets the edge, especially if it's in Whales.
