Em Ward chasing the $$$ but the fight is so out of reach for really logical reasons.
Cash cow is at a different division, he can't fight there. He should just deal with it.

A Mayweather matchup is'nt out of reach if Ward really wants it.

Chad Dawson wanted him and went down 7 lbs to meet him. Ward sat right where he was.

If Ward is serious about a Mayweather fight, it can be done by meeting Mayeather halfway.

Let Mayweather go up 11 lbs and Ward come down 10 lbs!

I'm not so sure Ward has the balls Dawson did in seeking a challenge!!! :deal

He's never going to be ducking Alexander or Guerrero. Nobody was screaming for that fight. He's not going to fight Ward, just relax. He probably won't fight the winner of Trout/Alvarez either.

Zero chance Floyd would fight Ward at a 157 catchweight. Ward probably wouldn't accept, but Floyd wouldn't even consider it. And let's be honest, I still think a drained Ward could out-hustle Floyd. He's only a LHW at fight night so only going to be gaining twenty pounds. Chavez JR does that every fight.

    Huh?

Ward never went around bringing up Floyd trying to get headlines

He was asked about May/Ghost by a reporter, and responded.

Floyd then started public rants involving Ward, which resulted in the situation at hand.

A fighter cant do what Chavez Jr. has accustomed his body to do.

Ward's not used to dehydrating his body as severely as Chavez Jr.
He tries this for one fight against a fighter the caliber of Mayweather and he's going to find out his body cant respond to his commands.

Ward will have problems coming down to 158 lbs like DLH had problems making 147 lbs after not fighting there for nearly 10 years.

DLH was only coming down 7 lbs, and he looked like a zombie against Manny Pacquiao who was going up two weight divisions.

    I love this scenario! :hey
For the *****'s out there, Marquez went up two weight divisions 12 lbs, to meet Mayweather at 147 lbs.
You all claim it was Mayweather's skill and not the weight that beat Marquez.

Dont you all want Mayweather to prove just how his skills pay the bills???

Should'nt Mayweather put himself in the predicament Marquez put himself in and move up two weight divsions to fight a fellow P4P'er???

Hell, its an easier task for Mayweather to meet Ward at 160 lbs where he's being called out at, than to have Marquez go up two weight divisions while Mayweather stood right where he was.

In this scenario Mayweather would be going up two weight divsions, but Ward would be coming down a division (8 lbs) himself, something Mayweather did not do vs Marquez.

What should stop Mayweather from saying no to Ward's challenge????

    Is Mayweather scared?

    Whats holding up Ward-Mayweather?

Mayweather is being called out here, he accepted when Marquez called him out, whats stopping the cherry picker from accepting Ward's challenge???
    :lol::lol::lol:

Eh speculative and different. You have a point about Chavez Jr's being more accustomed and Ward not being used to making such a low weight. The problem with DLH was that he dropped the weight way too fast and basically couldn't hold anything down. The man weighed 145 pounds on fight night and needed IVs because he was basically dehydrated and ****ed. It could be feasible for Ward to make 157 but maybe that's too far of a weight drop. He still fights around 176 on fight night so I think it's a lot more possible than one might suspect at first thought. Mayweather would be scared of losing, obviously.

A few weeks ago when a reporter asked Ward what his thoughts on May/Ghost was.... Ward said he grew up with Ghost so he cant go against him or something like that.

Then a few days ago Mayweather brings up Ward on his god stuff, and the reporter asks if he heard that Ward was backing Ghost and Mayweather went on a 10 minute rant about Ward

Which lead to Prince responding, which lead to Ellerby weakly replying trying to end it, then Ward with this.

Oh without a doubt.... Im all torn up over it :yep Honestly don't know what Im going to do.... Havent been able to sleep since this all went down. Spent last night ripping all my mayweather posters off my wall
