wow i feel tommy hearns is underrated

    cuevas.benitez,hill and leonard(second fight) were p4p top ten when he beat them.He had other very good wins over roberto duran(ko 2) schuler(ko 1) roldan(ko 4) beat other decent fighters like dewitt,olajide,kinchen,hutchings,medal,weston,andries all were world rated.Where do you rank him atg gotta be top 40 in my opinion.

    What lead you to believe he's under rated?? T. Hearns is very highly regarded around here.

    He is rightly considered one of the best of all time. Underrated no....but anytime we can celebrate his greatness Im all for it!!!!

    I have him in my top 30...

    He was a truly special fighter. Nearly impossible to outbox at 147 and 154. P4P, one of the hardest punchers in history too.

    in 2002 ring magazine ranked him number 67 of the 80 best fighters since 1922 which would put him barely in the top 100 of all-time

    he has a case when you consider he was comfortably beating leonard in there first fight and barkley had a big size advantage.does defeats don't lower him much.It's the hagler fight that probably knocks him out of the top 25

    The Hitman is my fav. I've been reading numerous sites over the years and it seems that almost everybody appreciates him. I can't say I've ever heard a single ill word uttered about him and that says alot in the world of critical boxing fans.
