Not much controversy, Pavlik threw twice as many punches, out landed Taylor by over a hundred, was consistent and effective with his jab, hurt Taylor in the 11th, and dominated the 12th. All three judges, Harold and Larry gave it to Pavlik.
I had it the same way. He landed the cleaner punches in most of the rounds. He lost the last two def.. i had it 7-5 Taylor. Though Pavlik was pressing the action and was throwing more punches, even though many were blocked or didn't land...so with this in mind, the busier fighter may have influenced those scores.
Compubox had Pavlik leading on all, power, jabs, and total punches. I thought Pavlik won...I had said I thought it would go 12 rounds, Taylor showed good defense but his strategy on saving energy to go 12 wasn't going to win him the fight.
:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl I see the HBO employees are trying to get their spin out there. Sorry suit, your fraud's been EXPOSED! No gift decisions for your hype job THIS time!! :-(
I had it 115 - 113 Taylor...but I can see Pavlik winning. It was very close and there were at least 2 rounds that could have went either way.
I'm not surprised at all that were having threads like these. But that was not a robbery, not even close.
Because he lost a close decision? Maybe I need to look up the word exposed, because I don't think I know what that means anymore.
I had it Pavlik 8-4, 7-5 is acceptable also. Very clear. And DON'T EVEN DARE cry the word 'robbery' with Jermain Taylor, ****.:fire
