Am I surprised? Not really, the guy is 41 years old. So it was an entirely predictable outcome. But damn, he took one hell of a beating in that 11th round. Dude was just getting straight up annihilated. One of the worst beatdowns I've seen in a long time. Stevenson left on a stretcher. Normally I would feel bad about that situation. But my list of fighters who I would like to see leave on a stretcher includes just 1 fighter. And his name is Adonis Stevenson.

It was so amazing because of how he kept getting tagged. He just couldn't get out of the way that last minute. I think he was tired, old and slow. And was totally helpless. It was punch after punch.

This was a shock to no one, it was pretty much universal that he was gonna get knocked out in this fight. He got melted, time to retire
Stevenson lost the fight because of his age, he was close to victory. I think he would have knocked out Kovalev if their fight took place.
