Eh i don’t like Floyd’s body language when the man is signing off the gloves. When gervonts is playing with it he gives off a weird look then turns away from tje camera

I just studied the body language more and more!!! They ****ed over Santa Cruz! Not that he had a chance to win!!!
1st Mayweather says "you have an equalizer" he then sees Gervonta make a weird face "but you can box also" then says "if all fails we will go will to to that body" hittem low like he did.

Then when the athletic commission signs off on the glove his body language is that of celebrating and relief. Watch him.
Then gervonta is tampering with the glove looks straight at the camera with a guilty look and quickly turns away!

Maybe sticker isn’t the best word. It’s not like a cheap sticker like you all are probably thinking of. If you watch this video from the Cleto Reyes factory and go to the 45 second mark and watch until the 50 second mark, you can see them putting this sticker, or whatever you want to call it, on the gloves. I’d imagine the Grant and Winning logos are done in a similar way.

Looks like a laminate or heat transfer. The point is, it's branding and it's not placed on there in a way that it is easily removed.

 

Yeah, a laminate is probably the term I was looking for. Most likely they just had some custom gloves from Winning that were made that way. I’ve still never heard of anyone changing to a completely different glove right before a fight like this. Each fighter typically picks out a first and second pair of gloves for the fight, so I’m sure it happens occasionally where a fighter switches to their backup pair of gloves. However, those two pairs are always exactly the same type of gloves with identical designs and everything. I’ve never seen someone switch to a completely different brand of gloves minutes before the fight. Surely, Santa Cruz’s team had to agree to this. With that being said, if there is any brand of glove you’d want to get hit with, it is Winning.

Update: on social media tank said the first pair were uncomfortable. And that both pairs were signed off by Leo. Even Eli sechback was in the mix reporting this mishap/ correction. Tank said "I don't need to cheat to win."

 

yeah, if him or his team come out with even speculating that its possible he could have loaded his gloves, i would have to admit i read him all wrong. im hoping he will say that he didnt feel anything odd and just got caught with a beauty from a guy who is known to have that kind of power.

 

Leo's team says nothing was wrong with the new gloves then to me this is a non-issue.
