Nerves?? nah i'm sure he was relishing the chance to land clean on Wlads clock

 

I just get the feeling Haye wants to KO Wlad obviously

But felt he werent ready in his preparation or experience

He should have had a few more heavy fights first

Whats he done since a easy win over Enzo in March 2008

Have a fight with Monte Barret - that is all

He has been inactive

Maybe this was a jump too soon

But if so - why did he drag it through all the press conferences, etc

Make your bed lie in it

If he gets KO;d thats just the way it goes

 

Joe Calzaghe nearly pulled out of the Lacy fight with a hand injury

Until they told him

Look Joe for ****s sake you cant pull out of this one like one of your other routine fights

Thats too much at stake

If your hand is 80% - too bad - just put up with it

And Joe went through with the fight

These big fights - any niggle or little injury can cause worry

How come this injury has happened to Haye so near the fight

Surely all his main body of work would have been done by now

Maybe he can fight - just over cautious and worried because of whats on the line

 

this is a Golden oppurunity for Haye

Wlad dont have to fight him

If he pulls out now

Wlad is under no obligation to go through this with Haye all again

 

Thats true and it's a winner takes all gamble.

Fail and fall by the wayside, get derided by all and sundry or win and become the HW divisions biggest star since Lennox Lewis, even without achieving what he did.

Almost anything approaching excitement eclipses Wlad's standing in the sport.

 

I think IF this a fake injury (and theres no evidence to say it is) I think its more likely to do with Hayes concern about Setantas ability to pay him his purse rather than being a bottle job.

It has to be a genuine injury. These things happen. I feel sorry for the fans who might not get a refund on travel.

they have to get a doc in to verify the injury for the fight to be rescheduled, so i guess we'll find out soon enough what the extent of the injury is

1st....would not state what the injury was
2nd... was told one of his hands
3rd.....RTL(German TV) was told one of his knees or feet
4th...(from Booth) Back injury

thats all I know about the injury
