That is horrible to see/hear! **** me, I doubt very much I would be able to cope with that at 21. It would have crushed me. It's really disgusting that they should treat him like that. He's one of the good guys, is our Amir and he should be treated with respect! Horrible.

That said, I still doubt very much that it had anything to do with race. Sports fans can be ****ing idiots and, although many of you have probably heard me always argue to the contrary, it is true that many of Ricky's fans come straight from the terraces and probably the only active fighters they know are Rick and Khan. Bet at least one of them asked when and who Big Frank will be fighting next!

I don't have particularly strong feelings about Amir Khan. I am sure that there might be a minority racist element against him but I think he comes out with some arrogant rubbish which does not endear him to people coupled with him being a protected fighter with a dodgy set of whiskers leaves room for criticism. Sure he is fast but put him in true 50:50 fights he will unravel.
