nah he just enjoys fighting and boxing i think he just cant bare to let it go its quite sad but understandable
You can defend him all you want but the 5 years he spent fighting civil-service workers will always be on his resume!
who do you think jones ducked exactly? remembering that it's the job of the challenger to earn the right to challenge the best fighter on the planet - but who also ruled a weak division. a fight with jones was EASY to make if a fighter was good enough..and if they wanted to. i agree jones' resume isn't great even though he has hopkins, toney and ruiz (try fighting someone in a different weight class) on it.
It could simply be his ego. Or wanting to go out on a victory. Regardless, he needs to retire, and permanently. He hasnt looked good in over 5 years
OMG Jones is back!!! Trust me this time he's back to his old prime self, his father said so! :verysad
No I wonder why a guy who ducked other fighters in his prime, now when he does not have to fight keeps fighting. It isn't like he was a warrior in his prime like Holmes or Hearns or Duran were. He took the easier fights. Then you have warriors like Hagler who never fought on after they lost their title.
