yeah but i still have my doubts as it's hard for me to belive that he would sell out his legacy ... but iguess if the money is right every body has a PRICE
If Oscar had Calzaghes engine at 35 then he would have a CHANCE. He doesn't so he will tire and outpointed.
i honestly believe that oscar stopped jabbing because floyds right started coming over the top. thats what it looked like to me anyway.
well thought out post. good to see you can post your opinion so people can respond to it. welcome to amateur hour...
If Floyd outclassed and embarassed a 34 year old fighter I would say this rematch is pointless.. fact is all Mayweather managed to do was avoid getting hit with a One big shot. Floyd defo got back what he gave Oscar. that fight was a very close decision, which could have went in oscar's favor just as easy. To all those people who say why is oscar getting another shot..lol I know it sucks but boxing is a business first then sport now. so your undefeated 20 & 0 up and comer type is gonna have to wait in line until the names get out the sport, just the way it is.
Agreed, Floyd struggled against a part time inactive fighter and did nothing to take the title away from the champ, IMO.
The numbers to this fight will decline - this fight is not in high demand and there's nothing that Oscar, Floyd, or HBO can do to bring the drama back into this fight. Oscar may convince his fans but he's not going to convince the true boxing fans that this fight is going to be any different. I'm not calling for a trilogy ... he lost to Shane Mosley twice ... what makes Floyd any different. He's beating Oscar more convincingly than Shane did -- There isn't a fight I want to see and there isn't an undercard they could put together stout enough to attract real boxing fans. They're depending on DLH's fan base to jump back on the bandwagon and buy into this b/s. I'm in doubt about ordering it ...
Heh, with PBF's ego being bigger than God's, there is no way he would ever agree to lose. I don't care how much money is involved.
