The fight seems destined not too happen. Why Yarde didn't take it at Wembley is beyond me, I know we don't know the numbers, but he was hardly going to be earning £10k only
Safe to say that I've lost interest some time ago to watch that fight. Yarde signing with Boxxer was a huge mistake. Buatsi signing with QP will get his career back on track.
I'd be critical of boxxer in general I don't think made what they could have with sky deal, however they seem to have delivered for Buatsi. Lets be honest none of the LH are going to beat the 2 main men from weekend, it's going to be a case of waiting them out more than anything, Buatsi one of the bigger names for Ben so you'd think he'd be in pole position to be pushed.
In reality, it doesn't matter which promoter represents Buatsi and Yarde for the fight to become a reality. It's up to His Excellency. It is he who decides. However, it must be added that Frank Warren has a great influence on the Saudi cards.
Buatsi reminds me a bit of Andre Berto. Massively overpaid for feeding on bums (good win last outing) so to get him fighting anyone with a pulse requires massive overpaying
Buatsi has had a good year in the ring beating both Azeez and the very cocky Hutchinson. Two fights that he needed to come through successfully. Absolutely no need after these two fights to leave Boxxer / SKY. The fight with Yarde is the obvious next fight to make with AB and DB tied up no doubt in a deserved and anticipated re-match. I can see the winner of Buatsi / Yarde being made mando for the winner of AB / DB.
Buatsi was commentating on Beterbiev v Bivol on Sky. No way Sky and Boxxer would’ve done that if he was on his way out.
