Robert Helenius euro level? In 2015, yeah probably. 2023? Certainly not lol and don't start with the 2 victories over an equally shot Adam Kownacki who has lost 5 in a row against some very low level fighters.

Franklin? Hmmmm... I'd probably compare him to a prime Kevin Johnson/Christian Hammer. He'd give decent fighters rounds without ever looking like beating the top guys. Euro level? Maybe on the very lower end which isn't saying a lot. Wouldn't consider him to be a top 30 fighter though.

Yarde's opponents? Yeah, nothing to write home about and I'm not gonna talk them up , but no one's praising Yarde at the same time like you were for AJ taking on fights that were also well below his level, fights that he was always gonna win.

Both rebuilding after losing world title fights against p4p fighters with easy touchups. That's all it is, but it's a bit of a laugh to praise one and critcise the other because of the platforms they fight on.

Franklin beat Dillian Whyte arguably. Helenius was also an opponent on short-notice.

The point is that fighting Ricky Summers is completely different and at a much lower level than Jermaine Franklin. Let’s see who Yarde fights in December. I’d be disappointed if he’s having a couple of warmups before fighting Zach Parker.

I agree on the Franklin beating Whyte part as I had it a draw, but I've never rated Whyte. I've said it for years that Whyte was a fraud and that was proven in his last few fights before Fury.

Other than that, yeah Summers is low level, but Franklin ain't that great either, not as high as you rate him anyway. It's a pretty rubbish argument anyway in all honesty as both are gonna beat their respective opponents, and it's like bragging about who is better put of QPR and Sheffield Wednesday or something to that effect lol.

And I also agree in that I hope that this is Yarde's last tune up before going into a bigger fight next year.

The Joe Smith fight was never scheduled and wouldn’t have happened for the first fight back after Beterbiev anyway.

Yarde is scheduled to headline Dec 2nd, so I expect at least a euro level like Igor Mikhalin - they are currently sourcing opps.

The plan is for McCann-Baluta 2 to also be on this card, if as expected they get the contracts signed off.

Yeah can't deny that there were some shocking title challengers in there.

Presume this would be on the Sheeraz vs Williams undercard. Good to see Yarde staying active but he did still fight in September anyway to be fair. Wonder what that means for Ben Whittaker.
