Doesn’t he remind you of Anthony Ogogo so much?

He had his career ended when he finally stepped up, and was also a real poser and completely delusional.

I know everyone, including myself, have been screaming for him to step up, but that is a huge leap in class. Could ruin him

Yarde being #1 on WBO clearly shows that WBO is not fit to be a major sanctioning body. It's another IBO.

I see a few easier options in the top 15 wbo for Yarde to take instead

I see Gvozdyk vs. Barrera in February. Gvozdyk is expected to fight in that month, and it won't be a unification fight (not enough time, some top opponents are busy fighting each other), so Gvozdyk needs somebody to fight. Barrera would be a good choice.

Shame. Would’ve been a good fight, but maybe too soon for Yarde to take such a step up considering he hasn’t even fought at British level yet.

Looks like Yarde vs Buatsi will be mandated for the British title, lets see who’s real

Yarde will not take that. The excuse will be that his beyond British level.

They say they are beyond British level and so are not looking at Hosea Burton, Buatsi, Buglioni but every interview they keep mentioning how few amateur fights he had and that's why every fight is just a "learning" experience.

Turned down fights with Beterbiev and now Barrera. Seems like they are avoiding any opponent whose surname begins with 'B'.
