I know I've posted my ******, banana, lock box analogy here.... :yep

 

I've been both a proponent and a critic of Jack Leow at different times. Recently I said some pretty harsh things about him. When I watched Pavlik/Martinez a second time I realized that Leow did give Pavlik some good instructions. Pavlik did not follow through. Kelly used to do exactly what his corner ask him to. In two of his last three fights he virtually ignored his corner.

this is true. leow catches **** A LOT but he did have some constructive things to say in this fight.

 

As of right now, yes. Kelly has 30 days to enact the contract. June, maybe...

 

I read 90 days somewhere. I thought that sounded long.....

Of course look how long JT screwed around.

 

Martinez has 15 days to decide which title to keep. What happens to the rematch clause if Martinez vacates? Would Pavlik have any legal recourse?

 

i actually think this will be interesting to what martinez does.

 

I think the lineal MW is more important to him and worth more money.

 

he looked great coming in at 168. but despite having both titles, williams has the win over him. so i would think if the rematch is coming it would be at whatever weight the champ feels best at.

kelly is hungry again. hopefully after the vera fight they know what weight they want to be at and can make another strong run at a title.

a focused kelly pavlik very good for boxing. he is always in entertaining fights and never quits.
