I'm sure the Mexican fans would turn out en masse to honor Erik's memory Classic Morales moment that not many people seem to have caught: In his fight with Paulie Ayala, Paulie caught him flush on the chin and took a couple steps back to see if Erik would fall. Morales stopped and stared at him for a second like he was wondering why Paulie stopped fighting, then finally realized that Paulie thinks he might actually be hurt. He kind of grinned, laid his head on one side like he was going to sleep, then jumped in and started punishing Paulie some more. It was chilling, I remember thinking that if I was Paulie Ayala I'd want to get the hell out of the ring right about that second.
