I'd be happy to put him in with Pavlik and AA right away. If Anthony thinks he's fighting Pavlik before PWill gets to him, he's dreaming.

ash, he is good but i dont think u can say he has proved himself vs a live boxer at 160+.

well done what he did vs wright. but we would all agree winky is a 154 champ from way back and he hasnt done much since then really.

im a huge fan of williams now but no way id back him to take pavliks power. i hope he moves up slow. even better stay at 147 for one more fight vs mosley.

 

I think Williams beats Pavlik at 160. He is not going to beat Pavlik by staying in front of him and letting Pavlik bomb forward with his 1-2. Williams has unbelieveable stamina and workrate and would use movement and combination punching to beat Pavlik over 12 rds.Pavlik is not an elite boxer imo and would really struggle against Paul Williams.

 

I'd take PWill over Pavlik.

Ha ha, no I don't think so. PWill is a great fighter waiting to happen in my opinion. He carried the weight very well and has enough power to earn respect.

he may have great power at 147 now, but i dont think he can jump up weight and have power. in time yes, but he cant be puttin on muscle mass in three months , then drop it, then put it on again. so its gotta be just water weight.

anyway i love PW but Pavlik could take his shost.... i dont know about the other way round.

Yeah I don't doubt that, but it's his angles and work rate that will make the difference in my opinion.

 

I can see PW easily out boxing Pavlik easily but i still have question marks over PW skinny chicken neck chin and how he handles the bigger men. He def has the ability to outbox the Ghost easily.

 

He doesn't have to stop him or wobble him to win. Yes we don't know how Williams will take full blooded middleweight punchers, which is why this fight would be so intriguing. Pavlik has big bombs of punchers but Williams has fair fair superior boxing ability. I know what i would rather have.
