No way you'll see this end coming. Watch in particular from 9 minutes until 11.50 minutes >>>

(no this isn't a recent fight and no they aren't Australians - but the Aussie section of this forum is about as exciting as a morgue at the present time)

Kawoya never got a rematch either, but Meldrick Taylor sorted Meekins out pretty well 2 fights later

You don't often get a rematch against a guy coming off a TKO3 when you are coming off a TKO 3 yourself against the same guy.
One of them would be 2-1 in a trilogy after only two fights.

I've got a 3rd place medallion at home which I won at a company function.

    It reads:
    Tug-of-war
    3rd.

At first glance it appears I couldn't have even competed in a 2 team event, but I know deep down that I'm a winner.:thumbsup

Perhaps you were rewarded for the quiet little tug you were having on your own while the event was taking place :think

It would've been for the Kawoya-esque celebrations, to be tapped on the shoulder and advised you've actually lost. "Knocked out, no **** eh?"
Surely they gave him the Hungry Jacks Encouragement award or something. I got a trophy.

Did you see the way the fight ended between De la Cruz & Munoz on the weekend?
Not unlike the lead-up to this, Munoz looked gone to most at the end of the round and I could've sworn he said enough on the stool. He went out nonetheless for the next and his cornerman walked halfway through the ring without the ref noticing.
I thought it could've been handled a bit better, or at least a bit more decisively considering Munoz was getting hit continuously through the whole thing.

Refs are always jumping in too early especially when the favourite has been rocked a few times.......bull**** at its best!
