If Pacquiao still refuses to fight him. Cotto is the best fight in terms of potentional money out there, for Mayweather.

    That's still very low IMO.

500,000 less more tuned into see Cotto on free TV compared to the people who bought Mayweather-Mosley

That number just doesn't seem that high.

WTF are you talking about when this was by all accounts a big rating that pleased HBO.

Cotto vs Mayweather in 2011 after Cotto wins one more significant fight this year and Mayweather fights win or lose post a Pac fight.

It would draw as much as Shane-Floyd on PPV and put it in Yankee Stadium and they would get a huge crowd.

This would be Money/Gotti all over again with an even more brutal outcome.

Might be a good fight. I think Cotto is a little too passed it at its point to beat Mayweather.

***** please. You must not have watched the Money/Mosley fight. Money was the one walking Mosley down and had Mosley backing up into a corner on several occasions. Rewatch the fight before you start spewing that false bull****.:nono

That would be a disaster. The fans are going to be dissappointed if May/Pac doesn't get made. If Mayweather fights Cotto instead, he would get destroyed by the media and the fans for taking the fight. If Money May can't fight Pacquiao, he needs to fight someone like Williams or Martinez. Fighting a guy Pacquiao recently destroyed won't cut it. Regardless, it would never happen anyway. No way in hell would Arum put Cotto in there with Mayweather when he can make Pac/Cotto II

it would be pointless for mayweather seeing as cotto was already koed by both margarito and pacquiao. there would be little to gain for pbf, anything besides a pacquiao fight is a dissappointment.
