Any age under 16 seems obscene. I can barely imagine a 13 year old in a pro fight. I'm aware of the rough circumstances that puts a person in the ring, but still at that young age...incredible. I was playing Punch-Out!!! on Nintendo when I was 10.

psychological advantage possible as well. most fighters back then where hard working family men and had kids young. so probably they couldn't pull the trigger against a little child. might of been a reason why nipper retired so early because they where not scared of holding back as much

Twas the drink that derailed his career at the age of 2. He was 1-5-6. His six draws all came at the age of 6 months, against other pre-yearlings. Those fights were too tough to call.

Bubi Scholz turned pro at 18. Never had an amateur fight too, since amateur boxing was forbidden in Germany at the time.

Nipper Pat Daley definitely is the one that springs to mind.

At one point aged 14-15 he had a title shot lined up but it fell through because his manager stopped him from going to America to fight for the title as he didnt want to lose his cash cow
