Benn had more character than all of them put together. If only the yanks had tapped into the Benn-Eubank charade!! Calzaghe and Lewis are boring picks because they are actually quite good.
As a Brit do you still care for my opinion? I would say Nige B is my fave, pre G-man as his head wasn't the same after. Style and mentality he was exactly what I love in a fighter, honest to a fault and would go hell for leather and happily get Ko'd rather than step off. Resume wise Lennox pisses it, only people he lost to he came back and beat badly, I seriously think he will look better and better as time goes on. Gotta give props to Naz too. Arrogant little shite he was but best entertainer for years. Remember staying up til 4 am for kevin kelley fight and not being dissaponted. Few fighters give that guartantee of excitement anymore, win lose or draw.
Calzaghe more talented than Lewis :huh Don't see it myself. My favourites would be Kirkland Laing, Herol Graham and Ken Buchanan purely for entertainment value but they're obviously not the most succesful of fighters from these shores. BEST fighters we've ever had would be different, those are just my favourites but I'm not old enough to have seen all that much Buchanan footage. Laing and Graham I followed all their careers.
