I'm sure all of you have seen the Tyson stare where his opponent (Peter Mcneely) keeps moving side to side. Tyson remains composed and dead still, with only his eyes following the swaying head of the opponent he's about to brutalize. Watching that alone, tells you he was born to ply his trade in the ring. Mcneely's nervous smile paints a picture of a thousand words. 2:10 in: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G1Wyl-PLmHc[/ame]
I thought the same thing! McNeely was grinning like a drunk college kid. Then Tyson's look sent a shiver down McNeely's spine: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G1Wyl-PLmHc&feature=related[/ame]
tyson-holyfield 2 tyson had his usual stare, but holyfield just looked right through him with the coldest eyes i've ever seen in a staredown..he then went on to give tyson a bit of a beat down before getting a part of his ear bitten off, hahaha.
Klitschko vs. Lewis was a great staredown. Vitali always has pretty good staredowns. Vitali vs. Arreola was good, i felt sorry for Arreola and the beating he was gonna take after I saw that staredown.
For some reason, even casual boxing fans seem to remember this staredown. I think perhaps because the world was glued to the screen for Tyson's return and all eyes were on his every move.
Love this one because Norris looks like a bull huffing hard through his nostrils ready to charge...like he was ready to kill something.
