I'm in work till 4 on the Sat, rush home try and get some sleep until around 8, go the pub with the lads, go back home or to my mates, download the last 24/7 watch that, then a few games on FNR4 then the whole show, then in bed and up for work at 10am
Going to have a good slepp Saturday afternoon while watching the football. Going to see District 9 with my mate while the wife watches Xfactor and all that Saturday night shite. Hopefully watch MOTD and FL show, quick nap then up to watch the fight.
Hit casino for the Barcelona Athletico match @ 9. My pals hosting this fight so go there for about 1 am. As the fight nears, probably put some drunken cash on a near impossible Marquez win. Watch fight,if ok/a bit boring-head home for some rest If a very good fight, will be buzzing and more than likely drink to the Sunday afternoon.
I've been told to have a nap by the missus tomorrow afternoon as since I'm reaching 30 I'm getting old and my stamina ain't what it used to be. Heading out this afternoon to get some Magners and Sol. An indian will be the choice of meal; Chicken Rogan Josh, Keema Rice, Keema Nan, Poppadhoms and maybe some Pakora to start. Afore the card starts - which I am so psyched for - I'll need to do some work on my movie script.
Has anyone used the Sky Player online? My folks have full Sky subscription but i want to watch the fight at mine with a few mates. The plan is to log into the sky player on the laptop using their Sky ID thing, hook it up to the 40" screen and enjoy. Ive been stuck at work/out and havent been able to test this yet, anyone know if this will work?
I'll be eating it with my breakfast on Sunday morning after taking my girlfriend to work. Then i'll be watching it again, with her this time, on Monday evening.
Yep, I hear you. The last Mayweather fight against Hatton we had a lock-in at my local pub, it was a brilliant night, I had only returned from the Kings Hall after watching the Duddy - Eastman card, I paced myself with the beer as I wanted to enjoy the fight, but the place was buzzing and at 4am, it is funny to be in the middle of a load of drunks screaming abuse at a big tv screen
Too true. That reminds me of a time I was watching Manchester United-Liverpool down the pub. One bloke in a Liverpool top got so excited, when they scored, he jumped infront of the screen and smashed his pint on the floor!Mentalist!
I'm sky+'ing this and watch it on Sunday after my 5k race at 9.30am Sunday morn. No chance of having a few scoops the night before so I'll avoid the result and watch it on the Sunday.
Where are you located? I've got no pubs near me that are worth their salt. They ****ing disgust me. ****ing golf and cricket is put on. Real men are a dying breed! My mates dad used to always watch the big fights during a lock-in but not no more. Hagler-Leonard, some pints, loads of mates, that's a real atmosphere.
I am in Northern Ireland, but dont know if they will show the Mayweather-Marquez fight for a lock-in, I think it was because of Hatton that they did the lock-in, as that was a huge fight with big interest. The only thing with the lock in is you tend to totally miss the undercard, too busy drinking, chatting to mates, playing a game of darts or whatever....until the big one comes on....
