    same generation as me then albeit spinks v ali was the first time i can remember leon
    what year that was i forget late 70s?/ i watched boxing with the whole family / had no choice 1 rented tv was all we had

    spinks v braxton was not that big in the uk only new about it because of the ring mag
    from memory the 2 of them were on the front cover little and large


    howard davis v jim watt was first time i saw him / big upset great atmosphere

    leonard was the fighter who was given all the uk attention right from the early fights / loved his showmanship he was bigger than boxing and was a household name in the uk as well as america.

    sadly no american fighter will ever be that big again in the uk
    tyson was the last .

    ppv tv has ****ed boxings fanbase.

    For me was Ali vs Foreman. I remember every round of that fight and the feeling that my heart was going to burst at any moment. No other fight quite had the impact on me than that one.

    Read the lab report like I did...
    All that was found on that pad was " Trace elements of sulphur & calcium . both in much larger quantity ingredients of plaster."BUT What the CSAC failed to add was BOTH are also are ingredients of HUMAN SWEAT!!!!!! All Margarito did was SWEAT!! This whole fiasco was started by that POS Richardson who claimed PLASTER BKOCKS fell out of the wrap. A BLATANT LIE!!!!! The pads were deemed HARMLESS by that independent lab. Margarito's career was ruined by a LIE!!!
