I would like to see judges treated like referee's, there's should be assessor's who overlook there scoring and the reasoning for why they gave the fight by that margin and for what reasons. Transparency is needed these guy's need to explain there decisions because it's just like they turn up with pre done scorecards.

Judges like in the Funeka fight would get banned and fined from all judging for a period of time or just sack him because it's that dumb.

Overall rules for the sport, There's to many articles i read recently where trainers say stuff such as ''yeah it's ok to wrap hands in Nevada like that but not in NY'' this is extremely dangerous and i remember Jennings saying he had to re wrap his hands a few times because the WBO didn't allow him to wrap them the normal way.

A after care system for Boxers who may have fell on hard times or been badly injured. (i'm unsure if they have started anything like this but would like to see it)

 

Anything smaller than the clown gloves we have now.

Gavilan and Robinson era seems about right.

 

1) If you have two champions that have had 6 successful defense's they become mandatory challenger for eachother titles if they cannot agree the fight goes to purses and if one fighter doesn't agree then he loses his title and the other champ has the opportunity to fight for the vacant title against the No.1 Contender. Therefore stopping fighters holding onto a title and racking up meaningless defense's for years on end.
2) 5 Judges but you take away the two most biased scores for either fighter leaving the 3 median scores like they have in diving.
3) 4 Man Tournaments to decide #1 or #2 challengers.
4) No Top 3 Contender can get there without beating another Top 10 Contender.
5) Champions can only gain title to their name by succesfully defending the title.
6) Contenders that lose by KO are dropped from the top 15 of the rankings and a champion that hasn't had 3 succesfull defense's can only get another title shot either because they lost due to a close SD or MD or they beat a top 3 contender.

 

15 rounds for all title fights. Think back to all the classic fights and the action witnessed in rounds 13,14 and 15. History would be very different if the past fighters only did 12 round title fights.
Fighters today are way fit enough. So long as they are evenly matched it would sort the Champions from the pretenders. :bbb

 

I like this idea put a box beside the round for a few words on why he scored the round to a fighter. Although this could mess around with certain fighters getting certain judges.
