I met Glen Kelly a few years later in a Sydney pub/nightclub he was retired at the time. Nobody knew who he was but i did. I ended up talking to him and having a few beers for about an hour or so. One subject i brought up was the RJJ fight, he said he was the most nervous he ever felt in his entire life and his legs felt like bricks. He acknowledged he was in complete awe of RJJ and later thanked him after the fight for not taking him out early in the fight as Kelly knew after 1rd he shouldn't be in the ring with this legend. Later in the dressing room roy came over with a few of his team and invited kelly out for his after fight party, he said he respected the fact he came all the way over from Oz to fight him and wished him luck in the future.
