I need to watch it and score it properly but Diaz won by at least 2 rounds I imagine.

I watched on that shitty choppy feed with the Spanish commentary so my opinion may not be the most valid (this time), but from what I did see Diaz won that fight decisively. Katsidis made a late push and may have grabbed 4 rounds. I think that's more than generous. Katsidis opened up and threw some big combinations but Diaz blocked all of them. It was Diaz who was in control all night. I've never been one to lean on CompuBox numbers but I think it was pretty telling that Diaz landed twice as many punches and more than a 30% higher rate.

    118-110 for Diaz.

Even in the rounds where Katsidis threw more punches, he was simply not effective. He never troubled Juan Diaz nor did he impose himself. I look for effectiveness far more than activity level, and Diaz was in control the entire time.

I never bothered to score the fight because I thought it would be FOTY type of fight and thought by scoring it, it would take me away from the "excitement".

But I don't think I saw Katsidis win any more than 3 rounds.

I stopped keeping score about the 8th round. b/c diaz was winning every round. kat may have won 2 rounds from the 9-12th. it was diaz by like 9 to 3 rounds. easy fight to score

I gave Katsidis I think it was round 8.

    That's it.

Diaz outclassed, outlanded, and made Katsidis look bad. How the **** did you guys give him 4 or 5 rounds? Watch the fight again.. he hardly even landed.

Diaz was landing flush hard shots that were busting up Kat. Whenever Katsidis would land a punch, Diaz followed up with a combo. I mean, Kat's shots made a lot of noise hitting arms, elbows, and gloves.. but he didn't land clean.

Diaz lost one round in my mind. And i dont remember if it was the 7th or the 8th. He was getting taken to school. To have him (Katsidis) winning that fight was criminal. I could see maybe 4 rounds and that to me is pushing it but 7:admin ....In the words of Klit fans.....Someone should investigate:lol:

I didn't keep track though I had Diaz winning big when I saw the fight yesterday and again earlier today when they replayed it.

That's the way I had it. No way Katsidis won, but it wasn't a blowout for Diaz either. Several of the early rounds were quite close, which probably accounts for the differening scorecards.
