dreamt of being a trainer in a 'major' fight? ever wished to formulate some tactice for the fight? heres your chance. outline what tactics you would employ for hoppa....vs mccall... .
well, im no trainer...but. looking at mccall. he has a great chin, so dont flail away at that. hes getting on, so his body wont be so tough anymore. also, hit em where they live. and mccall dont live right for a boxer. he has questionable 'will'...................which all leads to the obvious answer. work his body. however, to hit his body hoppa needs to get in close. and punching for the body drops your hands. mccall would still have a decent jab....but for how long in a fight? (getting complicated).... hoopa hasnt the experience to work off mccalls jab. unless hes improved heaps. so hoppa need to try and establish his own jab, and not get backed up. follow the jab in to get close and bang mccalls old ribs. hoppa should fire his shots and hold on, or move outa the way. dont stand in no mans land, or it will be an early night. hoppa should forget about head shots, concentrate entirely on the body...except for the jab, and an occaisional lead right-left hook combo to the head, just to confuse mccall. lead rights can be dangerous to throw, but hoppas work to the body should have mccalls hands dropping, so hoppa should score with it. when mccall gets offensive hoopa need coverup or smother. wrestle the ****er, tire him, dont let him unwind. frustrate mccall, wear him down in close. dont stand in no mans land!! towards the end, keep employing the same tactics. move in only behind the jab. work the body. smother the ****er. dont let him get his shots off. AND DONT STAND IN NO MANS LAND!! oh, and if you hurt mccall, dont run in and flail away like a wood chopper. pick your shots, make em count, dont 'fall in' with rushed punches, keep your balance and pick your shots.........and....dont stand in no mans land!! anyway, thats my idea of it.
I would tell hoppa to rush in and flail away hoping to land the golden punch to KO MaCall, cos he aint got a chance of out boxing him,and its the biggest fight he has ever been in he so he will just charge in throwing for all its worth or choke trying to do what is not in his power to do,and that is to attempt to box for the first time ever against a boxing veteran.
going in behind a jab and working the body is within hoppas experience. im suggesting he NOT stand back and box...... hoppa should go in behind the jab and work the body, wrestle, hold, etc. tire the ****er out. it will be pretty hard for mccall to box when hes totally spent. if he charges into a fresh mccall, its all ****en over. hoppa needs to tax mccalls fitness. tire him, get him into later rounds. to do that, hoppa needs to survive early. and hopefully hoppa will have inflicted some damage on mccalls old ribs. hoppa is fit. he will recover during the fight. im not sure mccall could recover. once mccall is tired, hes ****ed. hoppa will recover from being tired. thats what fitness is....recovery. . .
Is this they guy were are talking about? This content is protected Oliver will have a hard time landing on a ghost..so I say stick and move. I think I have successfully outlamed Leon there.
Only chance is to work off the jab, change entry point each time and get in real close.......right on his chest......pressure, pressure and more pressure. When McCall backs up then thats when your power will score points. Lets face it McCall has the better boxing skills, ring smartz and jab...no point fighting him out wide. Thats what his management is telling Hoppa anyway.....Hoppa is sparring former WBO champ Lamon Brewster ATM and from reports looks fast and held his own against Brewster.
