I like that he takes chances on who he fights, he has power and can box a little. That being said he's pretty robotic and it seems like Top Rank have no problem feeding him to the wolves, so I suspect if he gets by Zhan (which is a big ask) they will toss him to Makhmudov next (a giant ask).

He's alright. The standard of heavyweights is pretty bad these days. If you have a bit of boxing skill and can punch you are in with a shot against most guys outside of the top 5 lol

What I like about him is that's he's never had an issue with facing other prospects and contenders. Could have easily gone the coddled route and been undefeated with a padded KO record, but he's taken risks from the getgo.

    Power puncher with limited skills.

We need guys like him in boxing. He won't ever be a champion but is a good fighter who can still make some good money in the sport.

He's a big puncher, that's about it. Nothing special.

Not great but has the potential to improve. Could be in the contender mix in the future which isn't a bad thing.

I don't have thoughts about future journeymen. They are what they are.

He's willing to fight anyone, so I'm a fan. Entertaining fighter too. He won't reach the very top, but has a chance against anyone due to his power.

How do you see the Kossobutskiy fight going?

It's an interesting machup, but I think Kossobuitsky stops him at some point.

Kossobuitsky is a ferocious body puncher. That's his best weapon, but Ajagba has some much reach that Zhan needs to be careful that Efe doesn't come back over the top. But Zhan uses the ring really well and should be able to put Efe where he doesn't want to be eventually.

Agreed. He didn't duck Sanchez whose a couple levels up on skill. Having that L on his record now, Efe knows he needs to take a chance and he is definitely taking one in Kossobuitsky.

Said this like 4 or 5 years ago..............

First live body he was in with, he showed his lack..............He'll never even be a top 10 guy let alone legit contender

    Bump.

For whatever brief time we've seen him during the Zhan bout, I think he let his hands go more, with more diverse punch selection.

Last night was the best I've seen him look. I also give him credit for maintaining his composure against an opponent who was determined to foul out.
