Why not? Back up that statement as to why Kid Norfolk can't be a top 25 middleweight. You're being very presumptious young man!
I dont think Norfolk is top 25 ATG nor top 25 light heavy. What exactly did he accomplish? Especially against all time greats his size or bigger? I love Norfolk and have all the respect in the world for him but hes become a bit overrated over time. Furthermore, if you make a statement that someone deserves to be ranked as an all time great its up to you to prove it, not detractors to disprove it.
I think this one thread proves to me some folks in the classic don't know as much as they think they do.
What question? I have played these games too long I actually forgot the topic. Ah yes, I stated that Norfolk was not a top 25 ATG, thinking that by referring to him in your post, you had him in your top 25, when in actuality you were just referring to Janitor's post and how you finally realized who Jeff Clarke was. Janitor mistook me for saying Norfolk was not a top 25 LHW, which I responded, and he has yet to respond. You mistook me for saying he wasn't a top 25 MW. I haven't done lists to these extents at either weight class, but I'd assume he'd be in them. By ATG, I meant P4P, not at his weight class, or I'd have referred to it.
How high do you rank vito antuofermo and alan minter, i mean they are the best middleweigths hagler beat.
In literal terms, Hearns was better than both. Anyways, as far as ranking them, certainly not top 15 or anything like that, but very solid Middleweights, and guys like Hamsho, Roldan, Sibson, Scypion, Obelmejias, Seales, old Briscoe, Monroe, etc were not far behind. So it wasn't just his top wins, it was his depth and his dominance. What are you insinuating anyway? That Dempsey1238 had just cause for not ranking Hagler in his top 20 MW's?
No, that james toney has a claim to beating nunn and mcallum who were both better middleweights than anyone monzon or hagler beat. Head to head i pick toney to beat both at 168.
