I actually rated Gomez pretty high, so Vitaly's less than perfect performance doesn't bother me much.

    Wlad
    Vitaly
    Chagaev
    Povetkin
    Dimentrenko
    Peter
    Gomez
    Valuev
    Haye
    Brewster

I would like to put Sultan on this list, but is the man retired or not?

To me, Vitali will always be above Wlad because when gets hit, or when things go wrong, he gets angry and responds immediately. I think he can take punishment more than Wlad and is more aggressive.

Peter has proven more than Dimentrenko, but he is not hot right now. We have to see how he comes back from the Vitaly loss.

As for Povetkin, I stick by it. I think chambers is the best guy that either has beaten, though Peter has a chance to even that one up.

Tough call. In ability, I like Gomez too. But Peter has arguably beaten better fighters.

Who the **** has Peter beaten? At least Gomez didn't quit in his stool, and recently visiting Peter's camp, Atlas stated that he looks fat and out of shape AGAIN.

I have always supported Valuev, but after the Holyfield fight, he is lucky to ahve that ranking. HE needs to redeem himself.

Well, he's undefeated with wins over Timo hoffman, Luan Krasiniqi, Derrick Rossi, Ross Purity, and Vaun Bean. Not a stellar record by any means, but he's been knocking guys out and putting up numbers. All I am saying is that Dimentrenko is building himself up whereas Peter is in the get up and dust yourself off phase of his carreer.

I am not adamant about these rankings. Its just how I see them. Your points are taken.

But again, what about your top ten?

Good point, but I think we can all see that the gauge for both fighters is how they faired against Vitali, and Gomez was more competitive than Peter was. Peter could not do s**t against Vitali, whereas Gomez did keep coming inside, and did land several good shots, and probably did win the first round. LOL.

Gomez outboxes Peter ten out of ten times.
