UNDERrated??????:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl The guy was getting stopped by OLD cruisers and knocked down by SMW!!

He's is gonna get DESTROYED by the first decent HW puncher he faces, and I mean KNOCKED OUT COLD.

Now, will Monte Barrett do it? Doubtful. He was never a particular hard hitter and has shown signs of being on the downside. Haye probably wins this - BUT, as I've said, I would not be at all suprised if he takes Haye out. Haye's chin at HW is, at BEST, unproven. At worst, it's Tye Fields-level. We'll see tonight.

Wow. I'm not sure I think that lowly of Haye. He might well get decked by the first decent puncher he faces, as you say, but I can't see the current version of Barrett doing much in this one.

At one point, Barrett was a decent fighter, but now he's just a stepping-stone body.

    No on 14, 16, 17 and 20.

Lyakhovich is inactive, out of shape and hasn't had a GOOD performance since god knows when. Virchis lost his recent fight via wiiide decision and has no more interest in fighting so he shouldn't be on the list.

Shannon Briggs hasn't had a fight since what? 04? 05?

Rahman isn't a threat to anyone at heavy and will be eradicated against Wlad.

Those 4 are not above Barrett IMO.

I'd put those four ahead of Barrett. Do you seriously think he would beat any of them? I sure don't.

I could see putting Barrett in instead of Rahman. The others, no.

Barrett at least has an interest in fighting where as Virchis (who last I heard was retiring) and Briggs (whose last fight was against Ibragamov 29 years ago) aren't.

Sergei from his time against Brewster handles Barrett but his last two fights have shown that he's faaar from being that sort of fighter. He's not active, doesn't let his hands go, doesn't come in shape and is fighting absolutely terrified.

So yeah I'd pick Barrett over two guys with no interest in fighting and a guy whose conditioning, workrate and stamina are all shot to hell.
