Insult for Rigo to be on an undercard fight under this bum. Shiming has poor footwork, coordination, no power, stamina issue's and no defense. He has fought D level opponents and less so far and has shown these issue's and anyone even of C level ability will flat out destroy him whenever they decide to try to feed him a title, that's if a D level doesn't take him out in a 10 rounder or so. Rigondeaux has been managed improperly, following Donaire they should have gotten him someone that would press him that he could KO. He does have power, but he's not a finisher unless he has someone hurt. Iron chinned counter puncher Agbeko was a poor choice of opponent, but really they aren't giving Rigo a chance. Counter puncher match where one counter puncher is greatly inferior. I understand why Shiming would be main eventing in Macau obviously, but to be main eventing an HBO card broadcasted to the American fight audience? Americans will enjoy that feather fisted fly weight bum over Rigo matched properly against opposition that will come at him? Shiming is the worst medalist I have ever seen. How did he win a medal again? Seriously?

One thing Shiming had going in his youth was incredible speed. Raushee ******, the guy i believe to be by far the fastest in boxing, mentioned he was to quick for him. Another thing was Zou unwillingness to exchange, he was on his bike for like 80% of the round. Now he`s a draw so he fights completely differently from the ams, if he fought his old style, he might give Rigo a run for his money in how boring he is.
His footage as an amateur looked good. And he looks at least decent to some level... Obviously doesn't warrant the hype at all. But he's what, 4 fights in and has not hid the fact that he planned on taking his time a little. I hate HBO showing us his fights.
i watch shiming in his fights and think "how the **** did this guy make it so far" his style looks incredibly amateurish (no pun intended) i will eat my own shoe if this guy makes anything of his pro career
Shiming, like most notable Chinese fighters, seems to get a lot of hate. IK Yang and Rex Tso aside I can't think of a Chinese guy who gets any love.
^^ Yea i think a little bit(or a lot) of racism is at play but also it's crazy for a fighter to get 300,000 for his debut.
