There's a lot of fingers crossed hoping there. Not saying it's out of the question, but that's a lot of areas that AJ will need help in and has to improve. Also you have to take into consideration, what's the likelihood that he comes into this match with over the moon confidence? Look at what getting dropped and gassing out against Wlad did to him mentally? He's been fighting safety first ever since. And even that didn't save him from Ruiz. This lost has discombobulated the hell out of him, as evidenced by his erratic statements and seeming denial lately. I doubt he can get in the proper headspace between now and then.

Many, many fingers crossed. Aj needs a totally different fight otherwise it’s gonna be a repeat.

My gut is saying aj decision however, possibly controversial

Side note - I want Ruiz to win

I have a feeling AJ is going to be afraid to let his hands go. AJ will do enough to not get stopped this time but I'm guessing it won't be a close fight.

Or I could be wrong and Joshua decides to try and knockout Ruiz, in which case he'll either get stopped again or knockout Ruiz himself. But I do believe if the fight goes the distance, Ruiz will be the winner.

Those Euro drive by AJ fans......they are not boxing fans, they relive them selves thru the Bodybuilder.....

The Bodybuilder has never ever fought behind a jab for rounds and rounds...he aint learning jab and grab with his poor Ring IQ in a handful of months...he throws mid range hooks/uppercuts, does not fight tall and crouches down when he throws.....he is tailor made for Ruiz who likes to trade in the pocket with his hand speed. He also has a glass chin and poor stamina and for the 1000000000000 he quit, again, he quit when the heat got too hot in the kitchen.

Conclusion: If Ruiz comes in the same shape mentally./physically it will be a cake walk for him to stop AJ rather quickly.

Ruiz did not do anything special, he simply walked him down and made him fight without rest......even let him off the hook in the 3rd, he aint making that mistake again, he will finish the Bodybuilder the moment he hurts him, bank on it.

Boxing is 80% mental and 20% physical........once the first Ruiz punch lands AJ will be looking for the exit.....his confidence is shot beyond shot..

It’s good to actually have a top heavyweight fight with people so split on how and who will win

    So many intangibles

All my concerns about Ruiz in the past - including when I wrote him off as being a serious heavyweight prospect/contender a few years ago following his underwhelming showing versus Liakhovich (where he only barely squeaked by on my card, and fought to a draw on @UnleashtheFURY's) and his further tepid showing against Joell Godfrey ten months later - have been to do with his sense of urgency and motivation, primarily on the offensive side. I've never had any issues with his defensive prowess, or suspicions about his chin.

In order to give Joshua much chance at revenge, there would have needed to be at least some minor red flags in Ruiz's defense and/or punch resistance. In the absence of those, I see no reason for it not to be a repeat, barring a fluke uppercut from AJ landing square on the button, if Ruiz has a lapse in concentration and eats one flush.

Andy Ruiz Jr who was beaten by Parker, who went the distance with Kevin Johnson. Joshua didn't lose a round to both.

Ruiz isn't a chump and was painfully dismissed first time round but anybody who talks about Joshua like he's a joke cant really be taken seriously.

Who's talking about him as a joke? Merely stating the facts, Ruiz's style and various intangibles that he brings to the table negate AJ's biggest strengths and exploit his biggest weaknesses.

Your agendas are painfully obvious, gentlemen.
