You made a hate thread with an absurd premise that you keep bumping and are patting yourself on the back for being "objective". I guess you've only been here for 3 years, but it's sad to see someone with 15k posts produce such low quality threads.

No one cares which heavyweights you like when you can't understand the sport as evidenced by the idea behind this thread.

 

Jones wouldn't be rated top 5 pfp. He'd be well behind Mayweather and most find reasons not to put him in the top 5.

Whyte's best clean win over a prime opponent was Rivas imo (key word: clean). That was right before Povetkin. And Whyte was beating up Povetkin and on the verge of stopping him in the first fight.

Whyte was fine for Fury. It's just he was never really that good and he was sharing the ring with Tyson Fury.

 

If this boxing forum was around in 1980/81, I wonder how many threads like this one would exist, under the name "Muhammad Ali's Resume Tonight Just Got Destroyed" ... when Cooney stopped Young ...

How many would be bumped after Cooney stopped Lyle, and bumped again when Mercado and Tex Cobb both stopped Earnie Shavers, all in 1980 ... and how many would resurgace again in 1981 when Cooney stopped Norton in one round ... and bumped yet again when Joe Frazier fought a draw with Jumbo Cummings at the end of that year?

Would we see that nonsense play out back then?

Fighters age out. That used to be more common knowledge when you couldn't pull up a fighter in his prime and watch him with a click of a button.

Tyson Fury won the title a decade ago. That era, and its fighters, is all but over.

 

Getting an offer to fight Fury for the championship instead of Wallin, Whyte would be stupid not to take that, and it makes no sense for it to be a duck when Fury beat Wallin. Wallin got his ass beat by an ancient Chisora, whatever the case is, Whytes record ranks much higher than Otto which is sad
