tempted myself tbf honestly. Selby was getting rocked by Warrington what happens when he gets hits by someone’s with power 2 weight classes above.

 

Tbf Douglas is a natural 130 pounder. He is stepping up class too here and came in relatively light (132 pounds compared to Selbys 134 1/2). I also think stepping up isn't bad for Selbys punch resistance. But obviously he never faced a guy like Douglas, Selbys title defenses were relatively weak and i think Douglas is better than anyone Selby beat. Douglas had a close fight with Cherry and he also managed to fight well vs. a tricky southpaw slugger like Fortuna who is having an unreal output. I doubt Selby can do damage to Douglas.
But in general, i actually think this is a pretty close fight and i am surprised everyone here is picking Selby. Although the main reason why everyone is picking him is obviously the home soil factor and Douglas lacking a bit the output to impress the judges. But Selby was dropped by Hunter who is compared to Douglas a featherfist and he dropped him with Douglas best shot: The left hook. Warrington also had success with that left hook. Seems like Selby is a bit vulnerbale to that shot.
