I agree it’s a 50:50 fight on paper. Look I love Bud to death but like I told him Texas is not good for your health! There are many people I know in the game experienced who favour Bud Crawford in this matchup as well as many who favour EJ The Truth Spence as I do. What I was doing was using my insight to give a deeper dive analysis. I could be wrong but I don’t think so as I rarely am when it comes to boxing.
Spence has bigger names on his resume Spence is bigger Crawford is a savage Bud by MD if not late TKO 10th
I fixed it for you.... Power - Crawford Chin strength - Crawford Quality opposition - Tie Activity - Spence Age/youth - Spence Inside fighting - Spence Stamina - Spence Durability - Crawford Athleticism - Crawford Mental toughness - Crawford Fight adjustments - Crawford Hand Speed - Crawford Physicality - Spence Experience in a Big Fight - Tie Body punching - Spence Jab consistency - Crawford Consistency - Spence Defense - Crawford Ability to dictate style and pace of fight - Spence Trainer Advantage goes to Derrick James over Bomac. Both overrated. Fighter more apt to make mistake or lose their composure - Spence
I really cant figure out who is going to win. Its what makes this fight so great. It's a true legacy fight as both fighters are A grade, historical talents.
NOBODY cheats death, he got lucky driving like a nut that's all. I believe he's a tougher guy the way he was raised ,add to this it's been Spence who has been ducking Bud for years. That says something there...
Spence has never ducked anybody in his life. Spence is ready to go and Bud is hesitant to sign asking for more money a guy who can’t sell **** even in his own hometown. Please cut the crap. If Bud wants to fight the Texas 3 his record will be 38-3 before his time is out. Uncle Al Haymon is ready to make it happen sign the ****ing contract.
Except the nearly fatal car wreck that causes him to switch off for a couple of seconds and walk around aimlessly confused. Thread below credit to @CST80 https://www.boxingforum24.com/threa...n-concentration-be-of-greater-concern.688049/
Saw that. It's a maybe. His 'lapses' could also be accounted for by getting smacked hard. I lean towards the idea that if these lapses were significant, Spence would not be able to recover and defeat his opponent...something he was able to do.
Uncle Al is an Advisor/ Manager, he makes the matches then gets the in-house promotions partners such as TGB Promotions, Mayweather Promotions and in this case ManDown Promotions to promote the fight. Excellent business model which works with Either Showtime or Fox Sports. The best in boxing.
