    The answer is always Klitschko.

Foreman either stops him or Klitschko wins a decision.

Depends on if George can get him out of there early. But as I said before, a skilled 6'7 240ish pound fighter with good power wasn't on a 70's Foreman usual list of victims. George would be the "small" man here. Either George stops him early or Vitali stops him late. The wild card here is Vitali's chin, which was good. Once he makes it past round 5/6/7, if he makes it that far, it's his fight.

vitali does not have the ability to keep foreman off him for 6 rounds.

Hes a tough guy, thats undisputed, but foreman ate tough guys who relied on their chins for breakfast.

vits might take 77 foreman, just before george retired, who appeared to have lost a yard or two at the time.

But Foreman wasn't big on defense and Vitali wouldn't have trouble landing on Foreman. Could Foreman just plow through Vitali's best shots? He'd have to.

defintely, he ploughed through way worse. Vits was an aggregate puncher, not a KO artist.

Foreman would be happy having a big target to hit like he wants

If vitali cant knockout a c level poor defense having chisora or a literal standing target in shannon briggs, he probably wouldnt be able to ko foreman. He couldnt stop a fat wheezing sloppy old lewis.

If you look at vitalis actual stoppage record, most were late round referee stoppages (10th, 11th, etc). Only way i see him getting a stoppage is if foreman punches himself out. I think even the young version of foreman, if he didnt end the fight early, would realize vitali isnt going anywhere and would try to hear his corners adivce and actually box. The main reason he went nuts against ali is because ali trolled him and got in his head. Foreman fought peralta, frazier, young, ledoux, etc without "swinging for the fences" as so many people regurgitate without looking at film. He only got super aggressive if he had his man hurt.

Now as for how he fight plays out, both men liked to paw and reach out for range. Foreman had a better jab while vitali had better ring generalship and reach. So basically it boils down to if vitali can get past the jab. However, vitali lacked in bodt shots and foreman was an excellent body puncher with a vicious uppercut.

If foreman sticks to the jab and body shot game plan and slowly breaks vitali down he could stop it by the 6th, maybe sooner if vitali gets too aggressive. However if vitali survives and doesnt get cut, his better stamina, height, and overall technique would have the opposite effect and make foreman more and more frustrated and tired. Plus vitali had underrated defense and swaying ability. Im not saying hed look like ali, but he had enough ability to frustrate george if he didnt get dragged into a slugfest (especially with emmanual stewart in his corner). He could win a close decision or stop a tired frustrated george late.

Id lean toward young foreman 6/10 on the basis that vitali never fought a guy who could dish it out and take it like that, wouldnt back off, had vicious body shots, etc. There were very few heavy punchers who could actually box in his era and vitali enjoyed using his height and reach to outclass chubby plodders with mediocre technique. Vitali defintely had the tools to beat foreman hypothetically--either by outboxing or outlasting him, but i just dont think he had the x factor to win a gruelling "war" and bring out he dog in him which i think inevitably happens around the 4th or 5th round.

The closest we got to seeing vitali win a war was with lewis and unfortunately for him, his skin couldnt handle the pressure and that would have me nervous if i were in his corner.

Vitali Klitschko boxes Foreman’s brains out. Vitali was never easy to catch clean and even if you did.. he had a great chin. Very smart boxer with good power and physical strength that would rival Foreman.

UD for Vitali with a very possible late stoppage. And before the late stoppage prediction is laughed at remember that Ali, who did not hit as hard as Vitali stopped him late. And yes Klitschko would tire George out by being right there (Would NOT be running) and trading with him.
